STEARINGS ON THE RIGHT SIDE
Now that we have touched the topic of STEERING WHEELS let's play a little with them.
INDIAN CARS AND AUTOMOBILES HAVE A STEERING WHEEL ON THE RIGHT SIDE. These are the few reasons for the above cause:
1.) India was a British colony and Britishers were supposed to follow the left hand traffic. And therefore India is said to have inherited the same pattern.
2.) The steering on the right side pushes the driver close to the center of the road and facilitates easy driving on roundabouts and chowks.
3.) Some people also suggest that the above system is good for Road crossings and indications.
ANY OTHER REASON YOU WOULD LIKE TO ADD, KINDLY COMMENT
Nice information. It clears my doubt about the Indian traffic rules.
