How do aero planes stay in the air?

Just look at the birds that fly high in the sky. And the human beings have made it possible through airplanes, helicopters etc. But have you ever thought that how the airplanes stay in air.

The reason is that there are 4 types of forces that act with the airplane when it is in the air and the 4 forces are thrust, gravity, lift and drag. So from these forces the lift force helps the airplanes to move upwards and stay in the air. So to do it the lift force should be more the force of the gravity or else the airplane wouldn’t fly..

Talking about the thrust force, it should be more than the drag force (force by the moving food restricting the airplane to go forward) that helps the airplane to move in the air frontwards and other directions. This force is made by the jet engine.

So to lift the airplane and increase the lift force the airplane has wings which are curved from the top and flat from the base. This shape is known as an aero foil. And when the air hits the upper part the air diverts and moves upwards in a straight line but because of the curved shape the air is pulled and it moves around .Then the air is stretched at a high volume which result of dropping the pressure but at the opposite sides means at the under of the wing the pressure becomes high and get increased.

So as the air speed up and accelerate under the wing and goes down creating a lift force upwards and moving the airplane upwards.

Air goes down-Plane goes up

Air goes backwards-Plane move frontwards
