What is A Black Hole?..

Hey, ever thought about the mass of a mountain or even a massive object. Just imagine if this mass resides in a really small thing, maybe as small as an atom.. Well, our nature provides us with the same and that is what is called as a black hole.

Black holes are regions where a huge mass resides in a relatively compact space resulting in immense gravity that even Light cannot escape.

Imagine a object that can stop light with a speed of 3*10^8 m/s. 

And that's possible with a black hole.

Well, our basic knowledge tells us that we see objects when either they reflect light or emit light.

But black holes, as the name suggests absorbs all the light and reflects none making them invisible.

Thanks to our hardworking scientists who invented some special space instruments to detect black holes.
