Why can we only see the
Sun in daytime but not other stars?
In daytime the
most observable and brightest thing in the sky is sun. There are many billions
of stars but do you know why we are able to see only one star that is the Sun
but not others. To know read this passage.
What is a star?
Stars are
giant hot balls made up of hydrogen and helium. They are boiling because of a
process named Nuclear Fusion in which stars burn hydrogen and helium gas. The
Sun is also a star. It is the closest star from the Earth. So, it is seen the
largest in contrast to other stars.
Why only Sun is visible
during daytime but not other stars?
The Sun is a
very shiny star. During day we see the Sun glowing and it is so bright that it
stops other star’s light to be seen. When it’s evening, the Sun has been set
and we see a night sky. So, the Sun’s bright light is not there and we are able
to see other stars. Stars are both in day and night but with naked eyes we can
only see other stars in night time but not in day.
