WHY DON'T BIRDS GET ELECTROCUTED

Why don’t birds get electrocuted when landed on electric wires?

Birds are usually seen landed on the electrical wires. And the fact is that that high voltage doesn’t harm them, Do they have some sort of friendship..let’s find out.

Electricity and electric current can be very dangerous and harm any animal or us very badly so why birds do not get electrocuted.

In reality the electricity is very insolent and lazy and always wants the shortest path to flow. In physics subject it is said that electricity flows from highest potential to the lowest potential. It can be compared as throwing something as that thing always falls down and never goes up. A wire has two ends and one end of the wire has different potential from the other end and the electricity flows in it.

The current flows from the easiest path with minimum possible resistance, the bird is made up of cells and tissues offers higher resistance than wire so current prefers the wire instead of bird.

The same would happen if humans were there. But don’t take the risk.. It is under specific exceptions.

Also electricity always wants a path from which it could go to the ground but as the bird does not touch anything or the ground so that’s why the electricity prefers the power line path. But if by chance the bird touches the poles, trees then it may get an electric shock.
